Making and Painting Dollhouse Furniture

My daughter is at that age where she is really taking an interest in playing house with her little plastic princesses. I would love to buy her a dollhouse, but I just don't have the room or the money for something like that. Instead, I bought a pdf file on Etsy to make my own out of cardboard (fancy). While I'm waiting for the file to be sent to me, I decided we should probably look into making furniture for the dollhouse. It will be fun and free! Well, kinda fun and free since I had to buy the paints, paintbrushes and eggs for their carton. 

Here is a picture of them all painted up and drying:

My daughter helped me paint some of them. 

And when she wasn't looking I may have touched them up a little...

Here she is painting and mixing water and making me "coffee."

Baby boy was in his bouncer chewing on frozen blueberries in his mesh feeder.
